Cumulo-Nimbus
Well, we’ve done it troops. Approaching the three year milestone of TribeTwelve, we’ve hit 30,000 subscribers. I never thought I’d ever have that many viewers on my silly little project when I started out, but three years and 40 videos later, damn am I grateful. This experience has been an immense pleasure, meeting new faces from across the planet, getting recognized at conventions, being known across the web, traveling to hang out with new friends, and building a universe around all of our ideas. Despite the hardships I had to endure, the perseverance has paid off and then some, making a nice little dent in the internet. Just belonging to such a creative influential machine makes me so proud.
As for the future of TribeTwelve, I have many things planned - but I’m not entirely sure when I’ll be able to get them out due to college really bearing down on me and my internship at a medical campus. Mainly, writing this large and critical piece of media for the project has held me back from continuing to make videos. Without finishing it, I really don’t feel comfortable posting the next videos. However, I think that what I have planned will be worth the wait once content begins going up. When I say that I value quality over quantity, I mean that.
I’d like to thank all of my wonderful fans, devious and otherwise, for sticking with me and my project despite the delays and hiccups as well as spreading our projects across the net. Thanks for all the fan generated content, my appreciation for your respect of my work means so much to me. I also want to thank everyone who’s helped me work on the project since it’s conception, without you guys we wouldn’t have the devoted following exhibited today. This has been a unforgettable experience that I cannot wait to continue. I think Jeff Koval of EMH said it best when he hit his 30,000, "Whether you consider yourself a fan, a casual viewer, a critic, a friend, a loved one, a fellow creator of a similar project, (or even if you “hate” me, which some people would somehow promise), then I thank you for sharing this moment with me." I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Love you all,
